Realtree APX® - Adventure Jacket 470 GSM

The Adventure Jacket uses three-layer bonded fabric with a 3,000 mm waterproof rating and a PFC-free water-resistant exterior. The exterior helps water bead and roll off, while the waterproof, breathable membrane underneath provides a barrier against rain. For torrential rain, we recommend you layer the Adventure Jacket with our DryShield Jacket for added protection.

Suggested temperature range is 15°C to −15°C (59°F to 5°F), Its fleece lining and wind protection help retain warmth, while the breathable membrane and rear vent help release moisture and excess heat as you move. Adjust your layers for the conditions, adding insulation for colder weather or longer periods sitting still.

Yes. The APX uses soft, quiet fabric specifically designed for hunting, helping reduce rustling as you stalk, draw a bow, or change position. Its stretch construction allows you to move comfortably and naturally.

GSM stands for grams per square metre and measures the weight of the fabric. At 470 GSM, the Realtree APX Adventure jacket uses a heavier, more durable fabric combined with a Sherpa fleece lining for increased warmth and protection.

It’s best suited to cooler conditions and situations where you want more warmth and protection than a traditional lightweight softshell, while still maintaining the mobility and versatility of a softshell jacket.

A higher GSM doesn’t automatically mean an extremely warm or bulky winter jacket. GSM measures fabric weight rather than insulation, so the APX remains a versatile layer, perfect for Fall, Winter and Early Spring rather than a heavily insulated parka.
